Wednesday, May 15th

It's Wednesday morning 6:41 am. I'm sitting under our dining tent with Oleg, Loran, and Alec. Ed just walked by. Dina's going to brush her teeth.

Oleg, Bob, and Norm are the roof crew and their job is out in the boonies. They eat early so they can get going while it's still a little bit cool. Bob smashed his finger with a hammer the first day. It's a lovely shade of black and dark purple. Thankfully it has quit throbbing.

Sorry I didn't blog yesterday. It was a busy day. I ended up working a little later with Tommy Ann. We were working on Mr. Lepre's home. He is 89 years old. He lost his wife 2 months before the hurricane. There was 11 feet of water in his home. I got to hear his story of evacuation and walking through chest/shoulder high water, with water crashing over his head. His story was more graphic than the videos we have watched.

We are feeling the time crunch. That is the tough part. We want to finish some of our projects, but that's not necessarily possible.

Breakfast is almost upon us. Have a good day everybody!
