Wednesday, May 16th

7:20 pm We just finished dinner. We had burritos with brownies for dinner. It's a humid night. We had some rain today. That caused our roof team to have to move to a different job. Tommy Ann and I ended up with them in the afternoon at Miss Ola's. The team there (Bob, Oleg, Norm, Tommy Ann, and I) did drywall work, plumbing, and painting. Prior to that Tommy Ann and I finished up the work at Mr. Lepre's house. He then invited us to lunch. Yum! Fried catfish!!!









The team over at Miss Paula's is working so hard. Ed is working on the tiling, grateful for Tyson's talent with the tile cutter. Ray is working on an island in the kitchen. He worked on cabinets, countertops, and helped Wes with electrical. Wes continued on electrical and did some plumbing at Mr. Lepre's. Joanne replaced a thermostat. Alec was a tile runner and helped Ray with island construction.

The work at Sharon's continues. More drywall work. They all come back looking like ghosts covered in white dust: Jamaul, Dina, Michael, Loran.

Neva, Rose, and Hoku worked at Miss Ruby's and had a fried chicken dinner. We're jealous.

Ron drove around to various sites, bringing supplies and encouragement. Darian is busy trying to manage the project, checking on all jobs in progress, bringing supplies and tools to needed areas, making sure that things run as smoothly as possible.
